Finally got a chance to work on this a bit. I have the basic body with some of the routes. I still need to draw in the holes and then start working on the hardware. I'm going to do a 2D first them go to 3D like I did with the Harmony H4:

So did you take a SM body and shoot it with lasers to get the specs? |

The picture was so big that I missed totally the caliper. |

You list a couple of multi-neck Stringmasters in your signature so it should be obvious to me that you know this but----you are aware that each neck of a multi-neck has a different depth, right? |

... and the necks taper in width... you can't put my T3 in the case reversed L-R, it won't fit.
I put the picture in Paint and it looks like he got the taper in there... it's very slight. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

Yes Steve I got the taper. I'm laying out everything from center. _________________ 1958 D8 Stringmaster, 1958 T8 Stringmaster, 1955 Q8 Stringmaster (in basket), 1949 Gibson BR9, 1953 Silvertone, 1957 Harmony H4 (yeah the cool black pearloid one), 1947 National Princess, 1969 Shobud S10 3X1 |

I wish I'd known this before I cut the tie rods for my quad to the same (shorter) length
Took me a while to work out why the nuts wouldn't tighten on one of them. |

The steps are equal... measure the distance from 2 to 3 and add that to 3. And get an electric fork lift! _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

Getting some fingerboards drawn up for the laser cutter to engrave:
Wanted to also do some with the poker markers too. _________________ 1958 D8 Stringmaster, 1958 T8 Stringmaster, 1955 Q8 Stringmaster (in basket), 1949 Gibson BR9, 1953 Silvertone, 1957 Harmony H4 (yeah the cool black pearloid one), 1947 National Princess, 1969 Shobud S10 3X1 |

Well, that's most unlikely as I am most diligent regarding saying anything without substantiation, BUT, If I have a problem then this is the first instance of it ever.. lets see who else can't see it then ?
Just checked using the web link you posted (http://cudney.net/stringmaster/STRINGMASTER-BOARDS.jpg)and ooops, see what the result of my check was !
That's MALWARE, and falls under the categiry "Viruses and Spyware"
Specifically it's found to be either malicious (a site whose sole purpose is to infect users with malware) or compromised (a legitimate site, but one that has been hacked in order to infect or redirect users..
You CAN clean it up if you check with Sophos for the correct tools etc.

I pasted the link in question and It drops right in for me no worries. Quite Fast too.
I am on an professional server called Lunarpages if that helps to figure out what ever problem exists.
About the StringMaster Retro Parts , bravo, looking great all the way. It looks like you will have a complete ability to offer after market parts sooner than later.

Well if this shows up for you, all I can say is beware.
AS for the Stringmaster parts, even the smallest NEW old stock part would be most welcome. One item that's always in demand is the clutch for the legs, it's a 3 piece collet system.. |

I would add to that tuner pans. If anyone set up to produce them they would sell like hot cakes. |
