"Tahitian Skies": Steel Guitar Version

" Tahitian Skies" was written by Ray Flacke and featured by Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler in their 1990 album "Neck and Neck", a favourite of mine. Paul Franklin played steel (accompaniment). The languid tones of this composition are aided by the chord structure. Ostensibly a three chord tune, there is a lot more to it in the original score with ninths, thirteenths, power, and suspended chords.

Played here on the "Steelocaster" with a nylon string guitar (Crown) and Roland synthesizer E-09 ( rhythm, accordion and strings) accompaniment. The arrangement is mine. All tracks played by me. Key of D.
