Despite my signature below, my wife is actually very encouraging. She thinks they're very cool. (Sadly she thinks Mother of Toilet seat is ugly however)

Our house is on the side of the hill. My den is in the sub-basement, which is at ground level at the back of the house, and I have a door from there directly into the back garden, which can be accessed out of view of the house. Winking Very Happy
My wife never goes into my den. Very Happy
Besides, I build steel guitars. Only another steel guitarist can distinguish between an antique instrument and ones I've made myself. Winking

Three currently, a supro, a maxim,& a Hofner.

Also a garage with lots of ideas and suitable chunks of mahogany, current idea is the shape of an electar with the hollow body and scale length of an Asher with a valco strings though unit at the bridge and a lipstick at the neck. Time will tell.

Hmmm... let's see: an early 50's Fender Champion, a Fender Deluxe 8, a Stringmaster D8, a Stringmaster T8, a Shot Jackson Jerry Byrd frypan, a Rickenbacher B6, A Canopus D8, a no-name, cheap S6 (won in a raffle), a Rikenbacher S10 from the early 40's, and, coming today, an Asher Alan Akaka Special S8. That makes 10!
