I went to Nashville this past weekend and want to recommend the Long Hollow Jamboree located about 25 miles north of downtown in Goodletsville. If you are looking for true country music this is the best 6 dollar investment you can make in the entire area. The band is made up of musicians who have been in town for years and truly love what they do.. Missed Drew Covington playing fiddle but they had a pretty good replacement in none other than Hoot Hester this past weekend. When I go again this will be at the top of my itinerary for the weekend both Friday and Saturday nights.Charlie Whitten was playing great steel and all are great singers. I bought their cd and have been listening to it almost continuously. Best trip to Nashville I ve ever nbeen a part of.
