amazing example of how good jerry was, burning tempos and super relaxed phrasing with just enough eight notes to emphasize the tempo that the song is played at. incredible.

For the record........

that song on the JBFC site is NOT Jerry Byrd.........
but rather, Ray Montee on his four neck BIGSBY steel.

It was taken from our live airing of a country music show over a local television station during the mid-1960's.

I realize anyone that listens to that tune and the playing on the JBFC site has to realize IT's NOT Jerry Byrd. Just for the record.

Yes thats great! At some places he have lot of energies but is always relax!

Yes very nice job Ray! It sound a lot like the JB version which is a good thing!, I guess you get a couple of licks from is version?

Also the JB version have lots of reverb, anybody know what amp he was using?
