Yesterday I found myself with a few hrs to kill before heading back to Charlotte.., I went up and visited Michelle at Steel Guitar Nashville..The store is building inventory and they are moving forward.Really good to visit and see Michelle, Vic is off playing with Daryle Singletary...!
Then with a couple hrs to kill before flight time I decided to take a walk down Broadway ..so..here's who I ran into at the Stage , 2pm set every Thursday...Tommy White playing with Vince Marino....
TW as good as ever, I was able to stay for about an hr, did have a chance to talk with TW for a few moments...TW and Vince , a gal on fiddle and one heck of a rhythm section , country music and extreme hot licks ! But then..see below for the " but then"... Don't miss Vince if you are in town, real deal, knows every country song on the planet and do not challenge his wit and humor...! Tommy mentioned to me that he absolutely loves this gig with Vince and the band...and it's no wonder why...
