Fired up The Luigifier for the first time yesterday ... Always a stressful moment Oh Well

I'm very pleased ... Ultra quiet, huge sound ... Made a couple changes from the prototype and they turned out great ...

Sure was a s#!t-load of work Laughing

The Tuckelite is almost finished ... I'll put up some photos of the finished "matched set" soon ...

Only 3 weeks to the HSGA convention in Ft. Collins, CO ... I need to stop messing with this stuff and practice ... Rolling Eyes

Hi Rick,
I've been following your article withgreat interest from the UK. Your descriptions of the design and fabrication methods for this project are enhralling. I used to work in a R&D Lab for a guy who worked on the developement of the Radar System in WWII, and he would have loved your take on the "Valves out" design for the amp. Like most regular forumites, I'm avidly waiting for a sound clip from your project. I'll bet the wait will be worth it.
Regards,
Keith

Good work Dr. Aiello! Look forward to hearing it and meeting you in Ft. Collins. None of my homebuilt amps are particularly aereo-plane friendly, so I will embarrassedly be bringing something solid state-ish.

Yep, I'm a tad timid about flying with this rascal ... It's small enough to check with my suitcase and I'll check-in the Tuckelite in an SKB case ... Not much is going to hurt them ... got a little box for the tubes ...

Going to take photos for the TSA though ... Oh Well ... At least this steel looks like a little guitar ... Sometimes the frypans took some 'splaining Laughing

It'll be nice to meet y'all ... Seems like a nice crowd is building up ... I talked Jeff Kearns (Steve Miller Band's steel player) into coming ...

I sure need a vacation this year ... Mr. Green

Well done! A very unique retro design. Literally thinking outside of the box.
