Probably a kid as the shoe prints were barely 6 inches long. Nice family man though! |

Didn't Leo play an unusual tuning? Maybe D13 similar to Gene Fields? |

Is this so? Does anyone know conclusively? Or at least semi-conclusively? |

Leo gave me a few lesons in the mid 70's, and played a D13 Endacott. I remember him having a 1st string in the 10th position. When he left to play with Jerry Jeff Walker, and John Prine, I got to take his place in a local band. Nicest person you would ever meet, and very tastefull player. |

Leo was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew. I think of him every time I read James Kavanaugh's "There are men too gentle to live among wolves." I miss him and his playing. |
