Mickey, what a treasure you have given us. There'll never be another Bobby Bowman. You remember in 2000 when Bobby drove all the way from Tx to be at our Jax Jam, where Bobby was instantly part of our family. He, Bill Ferguson, and Herby Wallace, along with my Brother, Glenn, jumped in my van, went to my warehouse, helped me load some stage props for the show, then went to Piccadilly and had supper!. Bobby was amazing, and I cherish those memories.

Also, if you could use these for your collection, I have scripts for interviews I did with Billy Robinson, Charlie Stepp (Derby), and Harold Flynn (Flynn), and Ed Fulawka. These were done back in the late 90's, and were published in Steel Guitar World magazine, now defunct. Thanks again for what you are doing. Lonnie

Mickey that is so cool. Seeing this and hearing Bobby's stories put me right there in the middle of the History of Pedal Steel Guitar. Outstanding!

Mickey, that was very nice of you to put that interview out here for us. Thanks so much.

Bobby worked on my push pull when needed, so I was lucky enough to have met him. I've been in his house and experienced his easy going, kind, patient, and friendly personality. He was on the phone with me for an hour one night late, walking me through the steps on making an adjustment and fixing a problem with that push pull.

What a great guy he was. RIP
