A friend called me today and asked if I had any idea of the value of a Rickenbacker Jerry Byrd JB-6. Can anyone give me any insight as to the value of this instrument? Thanks in advance. Boo

Is it a wooden body or Bakelite?
Is it strings thro' the body?
Does it have the 1.5 or 1.25 pickup?
Does it have one or two knobs for volume/tone?
Where are the knobs placed on the guitar?
Are the metal panels polished metal OR painted white?

That's not a pedal steel, is it?

Probably talking about one of these:

Cartwright -- That seems like the model that he described to me.

b0b -- You're right; no pedals. Please move to Steel without Pedals.

Thanks, Boo
