The above link leads to a ZB custom D10. It is also for sale on EBay. I have made a bid on this but a few players are advising to stay away from this guitar as they can be a bugger to set up and keep in tune. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this ZB is worth the cost or trouble? What is a fair price for this steel? I love the look of this ZB but a little concerned I may be in over my head. I have been playing for a little over a year and and I am taking lessons from the legendary Larry Labeck. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. The auction ends in about a week. Thanks friends. Dale

That link is no good any more. ZB's can be a pain to work on. But, if you really take the time to really understand how they work, they are great guitars. I owned two of them, and I don't remember any tuning issues.

thanks richard, he must have sold it locally as he posted above his ebay aution he may end it at any time. dang, i was the highest bidder and probably would have won it!

| It's still active on ebay...the pics of it look as clean as one could hope for...but the undercarriage mechanics look like a complex way to solve a simple problem. That said, i've never seen or worked with the mechanics first hand so maybe it's a brilliant solution... |
