Somebody correct me if I'm wrong somebody, but I have an idea that the tremendous tone and sustain these single neck Dekleys have is in part because of the incorporation of the neck/pickup pocket/and changer connection. I have had several examples of these single neck Dekleys and MSA singles(MSA had wood neck and pickup pocket/changer all incorporated) and they have all had this tendency to sustain very well and tone was exceptional. Anybody feel the same way or am i just imagining things.
