In May, I will be selling my top guitar...this beautiful Mullen PRP...Im going back to my G2s, moving some old stock, and cleaning house...This guitar has a very interesting history...She has been a faithful machine!. I have totally rebuilt her to my specs. She is LOADED TO THE HILT with SPLITS, and Timed Half-Stops. The C6 Neck has Buck Reids copedent, and theres room for a 9th lever. Standard height, gauged rollers, embedded tuners, QUAD ORIGINAL 705s. New Mullen Fingerboards...Price TBD in May when she's ready to move...PM for price and ship quote...I want this guitar to go somewhere that she will be as cherished as she was here in TX...

That's a PRP with split screws? Could that be done to my PRP D-12, Mickey? PM a general cost to me if so. Thanks, buddy.

Yes it can John..For you, given the complexity of you D12, it would be a pretty big undertaking...All the rods must come out along with the #1 pull linkage, and necks to get to the changer. the necks would have to be machined for the split, as well as the changer base....If you want to discuss this you can always call me...peace bro!

Wow, that's a lot of work. I'll just keep saving for that modern SD-12. Thanks for the info, Mickey.

It was Jims guitar, ordered before Gary Hogue passed....Jim bought Garys, and sold this one...Then magically it showed up in my mailbox one day..Jim lived right down the road from me at the time..SO, I called him up and invited him over to see his "old flame"...She is a GREAT GUITAR!

Well Larry... I didn't either. But I've got an awesome G2, and I want to redesign my studio. I've also got 2 other Mullen D10s, so I'm equipped pretty well right now! I'll be up your way in a few months, and would love to come visit you and Jean. If you are up to some more intense training, I'm all in for that!!! CYA soon my friend, and say hi to your lovely wife for me!

I know that many, many folks have had the opportunity to see and hear this guitar, both in person and on Youtube. I just want to put in my two cents worth that I have heard this guitar up close and in person and it truly has an incredible tone. Mickey and I were having a discussion in Dallas about the sound of it's pickups and he was nice enough to fire it up for me. Although everyone's perception of tone is individual and hard to put into words, I just know that for me it was the kind of tone that draws you in and makes you want to hear more of it. She's also a looker.

Thanks for the demo Mickey. I wish I could buy it myself.

I'm real familiar with this guitar. I sold it to Mickey for Dean McCoy here in Okla. City. He had it for some time and had bought it from Bob Veach from here also. I think Bob got it from Gary Carpenter who took it in on a new Rains. Nice Guitar. Ken Collins

Yes I did Al! This is a real beauty!! As clean as new when I got her. The changers and crossrods were bound. It looked like it was lubricated at the factory, and was never played... Can't wait for you to play her Al!
