The legacy tabs are the ones I sell for 5$ per song; they include Don't Rock The Jukebox, Highway 40 Blues and a bunch of other "big projects", where every note of pedal steel is tabbed (fills, intros, solos, back-up. etc.). Simply send me an email for details.

I picked up Alex's don't rock the jukebox a while back. Great, complete tab. Just worked up the Currie solo to "No" too. Man, what a simple, but very beautiful break. Thanks Alex!

Hi Bob,

This is the Mr Record Man video with Buddy playing the break around the 1:26 mark:

http://youtu.be/Rr8cynrrJH0

As for Farewell Party, it's from the original Gene Watson recording.

Cheers!

Hi Alex,
I would like to acknowledge your fabulous contribution to the pedal steel guitar tablatures.
I started using TablEdit some years ago, first on acoustic guitar tabs, then on pedal steel, when I learnt that Doug Beaumier worked on such a request.
Your tabs are impeccable and of a great help.
It's a pitty that the sound of TablEdit at playback is not good, unlikely acoustic guitar sound and effect.
Also I am not sure if the TablEdit application allows a complete customization of the copedant. I changed my 10-string E9th onto a 12-string Extended-E9th.
Not a big complaint but I am curious if this could be customized.
Many Thanks
Daniel

Thanks Daniel, very kind of you. As far as customizing the copendent, this is how I do it. Open a Tabledit document, and make sure you select "pedal steel" for an instrument (score menu > instrument > pedal steel).

Then you enter a note and go in the "note" menu, and click on "pitch change". Then you will have the copedent interface and you can change anything you want, and assign any letter to any change you like. Once you have everything you need, save the document as a template. Whenever I start a new tab, I open the template document and start from there, so I don't have to re-program my copedent every time. Hope this makes sense!

Hello,

Just got some amazing tab's and backing tracks from Alex.
Delivered fast (by email) to me, just the way I like it.
I am a big Lloyd Green fan and he had some of Lloyd's songs worked out on tab.
Good tab, created with tabledit, so they are easy to read and some very nice backing tracks.
On his website I also found a CD called "Pedal Steel Play-Along Tracks vol. I".
It has some more backing tracks on it.
Check it out.
And Alex, Thanks again.

You should really try tabbing something out yourself instead of using what others have done.

Storms Never Last is a case in point. Originally done by Weldon in key of Ab and tabbed out by Fred Amendola for the Rebelâ„¢,Ricky and Jeff web site. All you did was change it to key of A and start on 10th fret instead of 11!

Semi- truck is another. I didn't have the Commander Cody lp for this. Fred sent me sound files for 3 of the songs, along with tab for Semi-truck and Lookin' at the World Thru a Windshield. All 3 were on the 1972 page of the Rebelâ„¢,Ricky and Jeff website.

Fred supplied many other tabs to the site during it's run.
