My mother Fairy Garrett passed peacefully today at age 90. I'm sad that she's gone but I'm happy to know she's with the LORD.

Thank you dear friends. Mom was such a blessing to so many for a very long time. She sang and played guitar in Church for many years, also at our family reunions. She wrote lots of songs and poetry, mostly about her faith in GOD. I know she's now with the LORD. She taught me my first guitar chords..

Larry so sorry for your loss. James and I just noticed this thread. I'm sure that the wondeful memories of your mom will help with the healing. That is what gets us through and reliance on God for strength.

Thank you all. We'll eventually get Mom's estate settled but it's a big job.....of course we're reminiscing as we go through everything...listening to cassettes....looking at pictures...discoveries along the way...laughter, tears. One great comfort comes through it all. We know she's with the LORD.
