Hi Winnie-I owned a Citroen DS 19 when I was teaching in California. A great car! I crossed the country to Mich. several times with it and it was so comfortable and got real good gas mileage. I think the was the Best and safest car I ever owned , and I've
had a lot of em. These disc brakes, years ahead of their time. That was in 1964. Back in Mich. in the snow it had traction galore and you could use the hydraulics to Raise the car several inches ro get over snow drifts. I could go on, but I'll quit now, too bad they stopped importing them, just because of Bumper height laws. French Cadillac, and they refused to redesign to suit Bumper laws....to bad.It was all built for go, like the old Emmons PP..al

So which guitar is "Unsafe at Any Speed"?

(This is an old book by Ralph Nader which chastised the auto industry in general and the Corvair in particular)

As far as the Anapeg is concerned, I had a discussion with Noel about the tone of the pickup in my Anapeg and, in no time, he made another one and shipped it off to me~ at no charge~ and this one is much improved (to my ears). Noel has a unique way of making his pickups and has a very good ear for tone~~

That would have to be the ABM, made in Germany. If I were to compare it to a car, it would be the former East German "Trabant" if any of you has ever seen one.

Hey Andy Z.,
I have no idea if they still make ABM´s but would be surprised since there are now at least two manufacturers of high quality steels here in Germany... I´ve always played American brands, ShoBud now and before that Dekley and Emmons.
