When the case is this clean usually so is the guitar.

Looks almost brand new!

Born on July 1957 so Happy bday 43 yr old Blonde

Everything is so clean on this steel.

The flash sorta blurs this pic but you get the idea.

All the chrome is pit free and in excellent condition.

Here is the bottom. Notice the great grain showing thru. I love this old time Blonde Fender finish.

I just restrung it and it sounds awesome just like the 1957 8 string one I sold to Bob Hoffnar.

I love this puppy and wont be selling it.

I'll take more detailed pics later and put up a link to my web page.

Beautiful guitar. I've got a later model D-8 that looks just like it (but has the black tolex case).

I'm assuming the string spacing on the 6 is wider than the 8? The 8's pretty hard for me to get used to.

Hi Bill. I had a walnut colored 1957 8 string one a few months ago and sold it. I'm more used to the 6 strings from playing guitar for so many years. I have looked for one of these D-6 Fenders for along time. Its perfect for what I use it for.

Thanks Brad! Your more than welcome to use any pics anywhere on your site if you want em. Added a pic of the bottom so you can see the grain. Man this is one sweet steel. I think there is something to this 57 pickup design because both of the Stringmasters I have owned were/are 57's and they just sound GREAT!

Beautiful!
I just got a 5/57 D8 and it also sounds great. Don't know if it's the wood or the PU's but I like it! ;-)

By the way, I got mine from Ed Naylor and he was great to work with and treated me great. Plus he tells cool stories!
