Heart of Texas Records is proud to announce the latest release from the Academy of Western Artists "Country Vocalist of the Year" Tony Booth! His new CD is titled "Old School" and is destined to become one of his finest recording to date. Tony searched through hundreds of songs to narrow the collection down to twelve songs to create "Old School." One of the highlights of the album is the song "How Long Is Forever" in which he is joined by Country Music Hall of Famer Willie Nelson!

"I have always kidded Darrell (McCall) and Curtis (Potter) because they had both done duets with Willie," Booth said. "I finally had the chance and they can't hold that over me any more!"

Tony also included a couple of more standards in the Jim Reeves' classic "Little Ole Dime", the Cowboy Copas' "Signed Sealed And Delivered", the often recorded "The One You Slip Around With" and the gospel favorite "When Tomorrow Starts Without Me." The new songs on the project prove that great songs are still being written today, and no one could do them better than Tony Booth!

Produced by Jim Loessberg, Tony Booth "Old School" is a project for every traditional fan!

Jim played on it. I heard bits and pieces of it while at his house. It is a fine project in the typical "make it perfect" Loessberg tradition.

Good friend of mine and my favorite Texas steel player aside, Jim Loessberg is a wonderful record producer. Tony couldn't have gotten anyone better to put together a great album.

I got mine last week, and I also got the Survivors II CD with it. Both are great, and I would recommend them to everyone. True country music, and great Texas sounding honky-tonk music. Three of my favorite singers.

Got to meet Darrell McCall and Curtis Potter in Dallas this year, had picture taken with both, and am glad that I did.

Hurry and order, as I am sure that they will sell quickly.

Keep up the good work Tracy, and hope we get to see more from these great singers and musicians.

Hi Darrell,

The fiddle player is Bobby Flores. I've been using him in my studio since the beginning!

Best,

Jim
