Played the Hank birthday tribute show last night at Club Deluxe with my old friend Bobby Black. He is still the most amazing steel player I've ever worked with. We spent a lot of time in the Honky Tonks with the Black Brothers Band and it was great reminiscing about the good old days. Also got to catch up with some old friends including Steeler David Phillips. All in all a fun gig with lots of traditional music. My kind of night...
