Just Finished!
Our latest Licks and style course takes a look deep inside the style and beautiful ideas of the late John Hughey- over 78 minutes of instruction, more than 35 licks completely dissected and explained! From scale-based moves to his great B & C pedal ideas, chromatic string twists, chord substitutions, long up-the-neck passages, and ending up with an in-depth look at his world-famous intro to Vince Gill's "Look at Us". Lots of detail for the beginner to advanced player. Some theory explanations, but you'll be able to integrate these great licks into your own playing fastest if you've first studied our E9 Theory and Number System course.

I bought the John Hughey course from from Mark. I'm an intermediate level player and found it VERY useful and practical, especially the BC pedal section. Would recommend it to anyone. Mark provides clear explanation; it's actually better than tab because it makes you think about what you're doing. Quick service, well packaged. Thanks Mark.

Just got the Hughey course from Mark. I don't get into too many courses these days, but this one is really enjoyable. Great explanations and examples. I particularly liked how he tied the theory into the licks without getting too involved. You can see how the licks fit the chords, and the different positions to play them. Plus there were some classic licks in the Hughey style.
This course is really loaded with some good material that'll get you thinking.
Thanks Mark

Mark's stuff is the by far the most useful instructional material I've some across. I like the fact you have to actually think and work out what he talks about... it puts you on the road to discovering your own style as opposed to just coping licks.

Wow, guys, thanks so much for the "props"! You have no idea how good it is to hear that these courses are helpful, I'm trying to bring a little more ammunition to the guys in the trenches.
