Does anyone else have this problem...? After holding the bar for a period of time while playing, the joints in the fingers of my left hand drift out a little and need to be popped back. I have to quickly pick my hand up (leaving the bar behind on the strings), roll my hand into a fist and uncurl it (crackle!), then grab the bar and keep playing. I'm not a knuckle cracker normally, but my fingers start driving me nuts if I don't occasionally make this little adjustment. And it doesn't always fit into a pause in the music. (It doesn't make a very good percussion instrument, either.)

Yes....knuckles...wrist...elbows....and hand cramps for me.....But it's getting better as the circulation has been bad and is being corrected through Chiropractic.....

I would sometimes get like a cramp in my left palm if I played a lot. I changed to a larger diameter bar(1 1/16 )and haven't had that happen since.
