Sho Bud Tele?

I remember previous posts about tele-style guitars that sho bud may have built, or at least they say Sho Bud on the headstock...but can't remember what everyone said. Now I am talking to someone about buying one.
It has a tele style body, Rosewood strat neck with 'Bud logo laquered on headstock, and three single pickups. He thinks it was made late '70s or '80s.
What is the story with these "Sho Bud Tele" guitars? Legit? Any good beyond feeding my obsession with all things 'Bud? --
