Pete Drake's Sho-Bud "Goldie" will be put on permanent display at the Ernest Tubb record store on Broadway. The guitar was donated by Pete's widow. It was brought to Duanne Marr's
shop recently and was thouroughly gone over by Duanne and Jeff Suratt. Jeff did a recording of the guitar with Pete's Sho-Bud amplifier for posterity sake. I will be posting pictures and possibly a sound clip on the forum in the near future. If you are on a visit to Nashville stop by The Ernest Tubb record shop. This historic guitar will be there.
