with the Everly Bros. in Germany. Steel is mostly inaudible until Duane Eddy, Albert Lee and Buddy Emmons do "Crazy Arms" at about 11:00.

That's great! The songs have quite different arrangements, very interesting. I have to mention Don's intro to "Wake up little Suzie" he's an amazing rhythm player.
I wish there was a link to "Green River" with Buddy Emmons.

Thanks for posting those videos. I was never fortunate enough to catch BE with The Everlys.

I've been told there was never any live recording / CD of their tour(s).

Much too bad - and wished the vids had a few BE extended solos. Just imagine Buddy playing some of those classic melodies. Wow.

Although this thread is about Buddy and the Everlys, I want to mention that their keyboard player Pete Wingfield had a minor hit in England with "Eighteen With A Bullet":

And in the sixties he was a member of the band Jellybread:

...and Buddy's version of 'Gonna Build A Mountain' with that band was pretty terrific!

An earlier drummer was the late Graham Jarvis and, at that point, virtually all the band were English; Don would finish his introductions by saying:

"Me, Phil and Buddy are the only hillbillies on the stage!"
