If one of you wants to undertake a relatively simple project this winter, here it is.
This is a copy of a Sho-Bud Fingertip made by a pedal steel guitar company called Walters.
It is a SD10 with a pad where the C^ neck used to be, I assume.
It has three pedals, two teardrop knee levers, and enough bellcranks underneath to support that much.
The lacquer finish is great, and the wood is very pretty. The pickup works great.
The Kluson tuning keys are missing, the legs are not all the same length, and the endplates need to be secured to the cabinet and it needs to be cleaned and set up.
It really should be taken apart and put back together again, which is why I call it a project.
There is a two part case and one of the three latches works on the pedal rack/rod/legs case.
The guitar was fun to play before I removed the Klusons.
This makes a good project for someone. It is ninth in line on my restoration projects, so it has to go.
You cannot beat this price: $450 plus shipping. Geez, that's only $45 per picture. Thanks b0b.
