The only difference I could tell overall my 6120 is a bit heavier, than the 51, but as far as overall sound & playing they are the same

I've always been curious about what you investigated. Any sound clips? Might help sell the guitar, too Wink

I'd personally love to own this beauty but am getting married in 2 weeks...pretty sure I know how the conversation would end if I told my fiance I spent our honeymoon spending money on a sweet modded Rockabilly guitar Confused

Benjamin, Just don't tell her. You are just getting married, so you need to learn these things. Some things women just don't understand the way a man thinks. Likewise we don't understand them.

hmmm...that works for some things, but those women tend to notice the slightest of changes, even a big, new bright orange guitar on my knee and a loud twangy sound coming from my den...

OTOH, the last time my instruments reproduced the mail man delivered a pedal steel guitar and I worked my way out of that...If only she knew what was under the dust cover of my "new sewing machine" Whoa!

Look at the pictures. It shows "Made in China".

Not bad for a conversion. I owned a 1961 PX6120 (bought new).
