Roy Thomson has reworked and recorded my arrangement of Someone to Watch Over Me. It's a great example of the incredible sounds available on the 6 string Leavitt tuning. Great job, Roy! The mp3 file is on Ron Turner's clictab site.

Very nicely done. How is the "pull" done?

I did what Doug said and used the ring
finger behind the bar.
It takes a little work because there are
two pulls involved, one right after the other.
I make sure the bar is laying quite firm, and with the (almost) ball end of the ring finger pull the string back towards me but upward against the bar at the same time. If the string loses contact with the bar the sound will stop of course and the effect will be lost.
Well worth the effort to learn this technique.

It's also a good idea to use fairly light strings to make those pulls more managable. Here's what I use:

Leavitt tuning

D .014
C .017
Bb .019 plain
G .024 wound
E .030
C# .032
