Hi Guys! I've been workin on this one for a few days now and finally tabbed out a rough version. Mike Sigler has a wonderful version on Youtube Click Here. Mickey Adams also has the intro worked out on YouTube. If anyone is interested, Click Here. Parts of it gave me fits and I had to come up with something that had a similar feel and sound as I've probably got a different copedant than Mike's. If anyone can come closer on the parts I struggled through I'd welcome some help with this tab. Anyway here's six pages of tab for you guys to play with. I've also got a BIAB song file and an mp3 rhythm track for those who don't have BIAB. If anyone would like the tab,BIAB file and mp3 rhythm track I'm goin to zip em up for an email attachement. Just click on my email link and ask for "The Girl In The Glass" zip file. Here's what I've tabbed. You can right click on each page to save to your computer if you don't need the rest.

Thanks for the well written tab.
Instead of clicking on each individual page, do a "select all" and copy it to MS Word and then it can be edited in MS Word at a later time. Easier than copying individual pages.
To "select all" with Internet Explorer, click on Edit at the top of I.E. and then click Select All. Then Edit/Copy. In MS Word do a "paste" and then save the file. |

Not sure who first recorded it. I'm only familar with Mike Sigler's version. Mike says his guitar player Lonnie Coots penned this one way back in the 70's and you'd think someone had recorded it before Mike. BTW, I only became familar with this beautiful tune about a week ago when someone emailed me with a request for a BIAB file. When I heard Mike play it I was inspired to try and learn it. |

im not sure if anyone ever recorded it guys, I will ask lonnie, But the verson you heard here on you tube was the first instremental version ever done, then Rob parker heard my version and recorded it with Hall Rugg.
since then im not sure who all has recorded it, i can tell you it has a copy write of 1975 with lonnie as the only writer. and when i recorded it, lonnie told me not to waste my time recording an old song like that no one has ever heard, or would understand the title and background.... i told him it was only to be a filler for the Cd.
There is a really cool story behind this recording session i will post if anyone wants to hear it..

Mike, I read that Lonnie wrote it for a singer, so I'm assuming that there's lyrics to it? BTW, this song is at the top of my song list right now. It's too much fun to play. |

Many thanks Andy. WOW! That song is just beautiful.
I hadn't seen Mike in so many years since I lived
in Pa. and it was wonderful to see him in Mt. Vernon.
You did a super job on the tab. Hope I can learn it.
