does anyone know a way to change the cursor block for the chord entry screen to anything but black? I can't see what darn chord I'm typing till I've typed it and tabbed to the next measure...Mad

thanks in advance

DVA:

Click on Options, then Preferences. In the box that then opens, click on Colors. Another box will open for color selections of various parts of BIAB. You will want to click on "Chord Cell". You can then choose a color for that. The BIAB default for that in Windows is:

Red - 230; Green - 230; and Blue - 210

Default chord "area" is:

Red - 228; Green - 220; and Blue - 192

These 2 colors give a nice contrast between the chord area (or "Bar") and the chord cell.

Thanks Graham,for the reply

but unfortunately the Mac version doesn't seem to have a corresponding preference setting... the only color setting I can find to change is the background of the chord entry page... the darn "chord cell" stays black no matter what...
seems to me in earlier versions is was a nice trans blue- nope just checked the Version !2 I had installed on an old mac... same black cell.... oh well

It probably wouldn't matter anyway, Dave. The Windows version chord cell remains blank after you type in the chord until you hit the Enter bar or tab to the next bar you want to enter a chord into.

I'm thinking that is the same thing you are referring to with the Mac version.
