Will a 15in Black Widow 8ohm spkr work alright in a Peavey Nashville 1000? If so, would any mods be needed? Also, would one supposedly brand new be worth $50? I expect to view spkr in next cpl hrs & really could use advice. Thank you. Bob

It will work. Not sure how a speaker other than a 1501-4SB would sound in there. They make a lot of Black Widow speakers for PA and Bass application. I would try it first, you may or may not like the tone
