Well, I own two - an S10 and a D10, and wouldn't mind getting hold of a few more Smile

I know where 4 are. I have one ,# 8 and I have a friend who has a student model and the slimline 12 string that at one time I bought from him and then sold it back several years ago. I also bought a 10 string and resold it shortly after . However it was lost in a house fire a year or so after I sold it.

For the first year or so, we were under contract with Ampeg to deliver (I think) 30 guitars a month. Those payments kept us going until the Dekley name got popular and the store database was built up.

Ampeg got a lot of guitars delivered to their warehouse, but I don't think many of them actually made it to stores.

Jim
Are You Saying Theres Probably Some Still Sitting in Ampeg's Warehgouse or maybe they are like the US government, just put them in the dumpster because the storage cost exceeded the value of the item.

Since it was over 30 years ago, I'd guess they went to the dumpster.

Bet there was a few dumpster divers back then who got their hands on some guitars and maybe aren't talking about their "aquisition".

Just curious as to why we are not having these types of discussions on the Dekley forum.I know this is a familiar place to come to but why have a dedicated Dekley site and not use it.

Neat, gonna sign up today.

One of these days I should probably put new strings on the back neck of my D10. They gotta be at least 7 years old now...

You get no points for old strings. That's like leaving spark plugs in for 150,000 miles.
