I can't make it this year. I just can't afford it. As some of you know, my 12 year old car finally died last January, and I replaced it with a brand new Prius.
I love the car, but paying for it is putting a major dent in my finances. Hopefully I'll have recovered enough by this time next year to be able to afford the trip. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

Laurie and I will be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I play a set in the Hawaiian Room Friday morning and the main auditorium Sunday morning.
I can't miss meeting my newest hero, David Hartley, and visiting with all of my old friends and other heroes. _________________ Pioneers of Western Swing HOF, Seattle 2005

I think everything is in place. If nothing goes wrong, I'll see you all in St. Louis. I hope to meet each and every one of you. |

I'm finally going. It's my first time to St Louis andI hope to meet as many of you as possible. The talent list looks great. Couldn't ask for a better line-up. I am very excited and can't wait. _________________ JCH D10, 71 D10 P/p fat back, Telonics TCA 500C--12-,Fender JBL Twin, Josh Swift signature. |

Mike,
We will probably go next year, but I doubt if I'll play on the big stage; packing my gear and lugging it on the airline trip is just too much of a hassle. I may decide to take my little 6-string lap steel and plug into a borrowed amp to play a few Hawaiian songs on L.T. Zinn's Hawaiian show. Try to make it if you can. If I'm there I won't be hard to find. (I'll be the handsome one with the silver-blond hair.) _________________ Pioneers of Western Swing HOF, Seattle 2005
