I explained in other post that the guy that had this PP took all the underneath and put it on a Old Push pull that he misplaced the parts to.It was a laquer body. I guess its better to find part of a pushpull then none at all. Its a very sharp guitar. Its a Medium blue. I have most everything but the cross rods, pull and push rods, and bell cranks. This one on guitars and after a month or so bob decided it was in the wrong place, So here it is in the parts ETC section. Its also a cut tail NOT a fat back.
Until i figure out how to post pics i can send you a pic over the phone. Just email me your number.
$1500.00 I'v decided i'll pay shipping in the us and insure it for $ 1500.00 I found out that the push and pull rods are only welding rod. And cross rods are i think 3/8 solid steel that can be bought about anywhere. And the bell cranks and colars is easy to find, Especially if they dont have to be factory. If you want it for a player and dont have to be 100 % origional underneath i know who make these. So someone can probably get by with 2 grand or less and be playing.
Let me know.

I warned in the previous ad that this was a "box of parts" and couldn't be sold as a complete guitar. Gary continued to misrepresent it and sold it - twice! Neither buyer was satisfied with it. One got his money back - from the other (it was shipped directly from the first dissatisfied buyer to the second).

Gary is refusing to take responsibility for this. Apparently the serial number has been removed so there's also a question as to the legitimacy of this so-called instrument.

Even though he sells a lot of stuff here, Gary refuses to post pictures. He prefers to talk to people on the phone so there is no written record of anything he says to prospective buyers. In an email to me he even threatened legal action over the suggestion that the guitar might be stolen. Confused

I normally don't go public with things like this, but it's reached the point where I think people should be aware of it. This issue needs to be resolved soon. I can't force anyone to do anything, but I can control who has access to this forum. People should be able to do business here without fear of being ripped off or buying stolen property.

This topic is locked so that Gary can't edit his posts in it.

Bobby Lee is only going on what other people are telling him. He talks to everyone else and dont have the guts to atleast talk on the phone. The guy that got this guitar was well informed. I told him in detail about this guitar. I also explained in detail all about why it was in parts. Eddie Thomas got this guitar and was happy for 2 weeks or more. Bobby Lee inquired about it once and i think he is PISSED OFF because he is probably to tight to spend the money for it so it looks like he has a grudge, Which i could care less. Also it was sold to a guy named Herb in Texas. Eddie thought i was selling him something he didnt want after 2 weeks or more and then done the same thing to Herb. What does that tell you. Bob as you see is not my Hero and never will be. I will tell the world that his choices is pretty childish. He could have called me and discussed this rather than do this so quick. So this should show the Steel Guitar world you better do as he says or you are in trouble. Another thing is i only told Herb about the guitar because he ask. I never pulled his arm. Apparently Bobby has never read the responses, Because like i said i made it clear as i could about the guitar. I think i'm a little pissed off right now. If anyone want to email or call me feel free.

I also want to say Bob, Was the first one to say anything about something fishy about the guitar. What happened i got this from a guy i know and he messed up the End plate trying to make an all pull out of the steel that he was gonna he was gonna put all these parts on. So he was gonna put the serial number from the old end plate on this one on this blue Emmons. Then he decided to buy new end plates. Nothing in the world i can do about that. The reason i know he done this is because the night he got this steel i seen the serial number. I dont know any other way of knowing the serial number unless he wrote it down. I would say he never. He is kinda like some other people i know he just does what he wants. Another thing, Herb has called me a million times and i talk to him. He tells me that Eddie Thomas will not talk to him. Thats not my fault either. Sorry this all happened but - - - - Happens.

I was never interested in buying this box of parts. I made that clear in the original topic. Read it for yourself: /viewtopic.php?t=155548. I wrote "I am asking as the moderator", because the ad seemed very misleading to me.

The events that have since unfolded prove that I was correct. Gary sold these parts to one person and then, when that person complained about it, lined up another buyer rather than take them back. The second buyer was also very disappointed. Both buyers thought they were buying an Emmons push-pull guitar.

I have suspended Gary Steele's account.
