This guitar has a wood veneered platform that appears to be actual rosewood with a lacquer-type finish. The fingerboard appears to be ebony with pearl inlaid frets and markers, and the Sierra name plate on the front apron is inlaid also. There is a built-in pick and bar holder by the gearless tuner.
Price is $2,100 shipped to lower 48. The Sierra factory is close by for any copedant changes that might be needed.
The choice of pickups has changed due to sale of my mica guitar. The remaining Danny Shields pickup is the 15.5-23k. The other pickup is a Sierra single pole type and is 15-22k.
Action is very smooth, and the tone is great. Tom Baker of Sierra changed this one over from a U-12. The locking lever and extra U-12 parts are included in the sale The copedant is from Buzz Evans.

The veneer really dresses this Sierra up !!....Very rich looking , and very vintagy looking too !!....I like it a lot .....Good Luck , Jim

| James Quackenbush knows me too well. My intention was to buy this guitar, and Pat answered any and every question & then some as quickly as I fired them off. The answers were thorough, & several of these he obtained directly through the Sierra company . He was most pleasant in addition to being helpful all along the way.
