Chris Ivey - Chris Buddy does have a son. I met him when he was working in a liquor store in St. Petersburg , Florida in the late 70's. I had a "t" shirt on that I had made up that said "Sho-Bud" on it. He came running over and told me who he was and that the "Bud" in Sho Bud was his Dad, Buddy. He got so excited that he called his Mom right from the store and told her about the guy with a "Sho Bud" shirt on. Real nice young man. That was a while back. Hey Bob, I love that Rickenbacker, I wish I still had mine. That's the guitar I learned to play on. I wish I had it back, because I sure can't play this one..... What, you don't like this? I find it quite "respectable". In fact, it's one of my favorite instruments.

That is a beautiful guitar.
What tuning do you use on an 8-string? |
