I have known him since he was a little kid in Norfolk VA. I'd also like to know where he is, a good guy, better friend and an incredible player, he also loved Curly Chalker.

Let's try to find him. I'll start checking in Norfolk, how about it , "East coast guys"?

Larry, I saw Bobby (AKA Muskrat) Reames a little over a month ago when we played for the Phelps Brothers Music Festival at Lakeside Park in So. Norfolk. He was playing as good as ever. We had him on pedal steel, me on lead guitar, Roger Gray on fiddle, Garland Abbott III on bass, Lonnie Godfrey on drums, & Tee Meroney on rhythm guitar & vocals. I have a phone number if you'd like it. He's currently living in North Carolina and working a day job..........JH in Va.

Thanks Bobbe, I'll see most of 'em this afternoon at the VCMA Jamboree at the Portsmouth Moose Lodge. I'll tell 'em you sent your best. I'd like to have seen you there too and some of that hot Travis pickin' you do...

Larry, I'll get the number to you in the next day or two. By the way, Muskrat and Barbara Jean aren't together anymore, they divorced a few years ago and she's got another husband. Barbara Jean was also the recipient of the VCMA's "Pioneer Award" in 2006. She's not currently active in music at the moment. They have a teenage daughter named Lacy who is a very good country singer and knows all the old ones. Her mama taught her well. We did another show earlier in the year in which Bobby (Muskrat) brought her along and she was impressive. Made me jealous, I've always wanted kids who could pick or sing. Mine are all almost forty years old and can't seem to even tie their own shoes although one can wave bye bye. But they do love me, everytime they need money I'm the first one they call!.............JH in Va.
