The sample below was recorded in my home with steel playing all parts except the bass, which was from BIAB.

All applicable software is on my laptop computer. The sample below was recorded using Power Tracks Pro, which came free with BIAB. The WAV file rendered from BIAB was picked up from the hard drive by Power Tracks. My steel was input directly to a USB port in my laptop via an Edirol UA-1EX ($80.00). (The UA-1EX digitized the signal from the steel.) Any normalizer (Audacity, Wavelab Lite, etc.) can be used to adjust amplitude of signal to optimum. (I used WaveLab Lite.) Click on the below link to hear the sample.

Very Nice, Roy!

I too have an 'inexpensive' recording setup... Audacity is Free. Winking

Below is a short clip of "Away in a Manger" that I recently recorded.

BIAB WAV imported to Audacity.
Emmons p/p ---> Black Box---> volume pedal---> BOSS Digital Delay (DD-6)---> line into the computer.

Roy, sounds great, as you usually do.

Bernie Waldon (Bass picker at the club jams) is currently working a couple of RV park shows with Kent Westbury who wrote that song. Kent lives in (I think) Lakeland. I don't know if he is a snowbird or lives here all the time.

Thanks, Jack. I didn't know who wrote the song, but Mr. Wesbury did himself proud on that one. I love to hear Gene Watson sing it; he is one of my favorite singers.

I'm going to buy that Audigy SE tomorrow. I'll let you know if it does the trick.
