Stop the presses! Not only will Buddy Emmons (The Good) be playing at St. Louis this year, but the "world famous" Smiley Roberts (Bad&TheUgly - all one word Smiley says) will also be performing!

I booked my room this morning, so be there or be square!

I don't know why they call him "The Bad & The Ugly". I've heard him play and he's really not bad.

Okay, Mr. "Acceptable Tone".

Smiley Roberts, the "Not Bad" Nashville steel guitarist, will be playing the 2002 ISGC this year as will the "The Good" Buddy Emmons.

How's that?

OK, now that just leaves us with "Ugly" to deal with.

(for the record, Smiley is actually a fabulous steel player; just don't say that too loud, ok?)

There's just no help for "The Ugly". Why do you think he wears those phony glasses, nose, and moustache? He tries to cover up "The Ugly", but he was hatched that way!

Does this mean that I'm gonna have to be like the "Unknown Comic",in the days of the old "Gong Show",& wear a bag over my head,w/ 2 holes cut out for my eyes?? ("The Unknown Steeler". Hey,that might work!! Naw,nevermind. Now,everybody will know who it is anyway.)

Smiley
The paper sack thing would work, but only if you omit wearing the shorts over your jeans. That, my friend, is a dead giveaway!!

Funny thing about the Unknown Comic on the Gong Show... no one knew who he was even with the sack off his head!!

Someone told me I forget who but they said if Smiley was to show up nude Not many people would notice his presence. In other words he doesn't "stand out" in a crowd.

My wife thinks Smiley is cute. Obviously she is losing her eyesite (just kidding Smiley). She doesn't understand why he is 500 pounds less than the rest of us.

I think Buddy and Smiley should do a duet set. Dress bothe in NOTHING but a pair of Smiley shorts. Better make that two pairs.

How about wearing the shorts over the head instead of... Oh well, I better stop before the men in the white coats come a knockin' at the door.
