Does anyone out there know the truth of the matter? I've talked to Jeff Newman, Joan Cox and others and no one seems to know for sure. According to Ernie, this thing will happen. If it does, I'm haulin !@$ from Cn TX to Nashville on March 9th just as hard and fast as I can go.

Keep it "PLUMB COUNTRY"

Buddy told me about it. I have no reason to doubt him, if you know what I mean...

Smiley Roberts, Jimmie & Elsie Crawford, Larry Dolan, Bob Knight, John & Jean Hughey and Karen & myself will all be there on the front row. Of course we are all going to Legends FIRST as John plays there until 10 PM but still gives us plenty of time to get from downtown out to the ET theatre before the doors open. After the performance, the WAFFLE HOUSE!!!!! What a night!

What time do the doors open? We're probably going to arrive in town on Fri. the 8th. I don't know the location/address or anything about this gig. Please give me some details and directions if you can. We're drivin about 15 hrs. to see E. We see Johnny when we can in Tx. I wouldn't drive this far to see just anyone. I've never got to see Emmons live but have all his music. Needless to say, he's my hero. Just been learnig steel for about 18mos.

The date for John on the Midnite Jamboree is correct,Buddy will put the band together and I expect it will be an exciting group to say the least....Johnny is also receiving The Annie Glenn Award at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on the following Thursday...
On this date Buddy Charleton will have the steel chair and will select the band, this one will be an exciting show also!!!
I'm sure John's relatives at the White House are polishing their boots and practicing shuffles as I write this.....Lynn....

Johnny told me last night that the band is Buddy, Pete Wade, DJ Fontana, Buddy Spicher, and... he didn't say who the bass player will be.

Sounds like they'll produce "acceptable tone."

If somebody could clue me in on the D.C. gig I'd appreciate it.Is it gonna be a Johnny Bush show or is he just accepting an award and only playing a song or two? Emmons and Charleton within a week? Johnny must be loving life!!
