the Cat's out of the bag...
From "Nashville Scene" website some nice words in advance of our upcoming sojourn to Nashville this weekend:

quote:

Last Train Home Equally adept with locomotion and melody, these D.C. country-rockers sound tougher and more nuanced all the time. And in frontman Eric Brace they've got a singer-songwriter who can convey the knottiest emotions with heart and smarts enough to evoke his heroes Willis Alan Ramsey and Jimmy Webb. Brace's brother Alan is no slouch as singer-writer either, and he's some kinda soul sender to boot. The group only get to Nashville once or twice a year, so if you want to catch the train this time, don't be late: Their show at The Basement starts at 8 p.m. sharp. They'll also perform as part of Billy Block's Western Beat Revival at Exit/In on Tuesday.

we'l also be doing some radio sunday evening, and maybe a tune or two at a Johnny Cash Tribute on Monday night...

details as they stand now arehere

I'll post more if I know more by the time I have to leave...

Dave, you're in trouble now. I'm bringing a gang of shady characters to the Exit Inn Tuesday night. You might recognize some of these ruffians and some you might not but you have been warned!!!

......by the way, the NTSGA is meeting at 7 PM at the Old Country Buffett on Gallatin Road but that's about the time you should be setting up and getting ready for a sound check.

There is sure to be a Food Shortage in Nashville when Van Allen Leaves. This guy can eat.

He stores a Big Hero Sandwich in the back of his amp. When you see him "lay out" he's taking a bite or two.

Nashville will never be the same again. McDonalds,,Burger King,,,Wendys,,,will have to "reload",,,,here comes the "Last Train Home" with the Big Guy in Front. Open those
Pizza Huts 24 hours a day...this is the
"Marathon Man" from PA. We're talkin SUPER
SIZE here. That train needs a lot of steam
to run,,,,,It runs on FOOD.The steam comes
later.

Hey Dave! Great review! The Billy Block Western Beat show at the Exit/In is a blast! The Kevin Fowler Band played that show last November and we had a big time.

Have fun and...

Keep on pickin'!
