The band I've been playing with for the last 8 months just lost the keyboard player, he took a full-time job as musical director for his church. If anybody knows a good one that can play gigs around the Kansas City/Topeka/Lawrence area please put them in touch with me at jim@jimphelps.comor Lorena at lpsinger@lorenaprater.com . The band plays mostly county and state fairs in the summer, clubs and casinos in the winter and corporate parties whenever. If we can't find a keyboarder soon we'll most likely try for a pedal steel player and move me from steel to 6-string lead, so you steelers in the area keep it in mind too. The band is Lorena Prater and Western Reunion, plays mostly "New Country", check her website at http://lorenaprater.com and mine at http://jimphelps.com . Thanks.
