Having just checked the Prairie Home Companion WEbsite's schedule, I noticed that Cindy Cashdollar will be on the show March 2nd and 9th. It's good to see Cindy staying busy after leaving the 'Wheel'. I was lucky enough to see her with them just before she left, and of all places, a couple of miles from my suburban home in New Jersey.

Is she any relation to the great C6th player,Melissa Cashdollar, that I sold a Fender four neck and a new LeGrande to 3 years ago? Melissa is a tall blonde ,great player from New Mexaco, music major grad from Texas. (She is the one that got away.)
Her picture is on my web-page under "who's been seen at" link. www.steelguitar.net

Cindy was my first interview for Steel Guitar World Magazine. She is a fine player. I don't know if she is related. Bobbe, who is Mike Daly with now. I really like his playing style. Very impressive. He sounded great with Alison Moorer.

Mike Daly went to prison a few weeks ago for impersonating a steel player in public. He got 11 months and 29 days and the judge said that if he was even caught with a set of picks on again , he'd have to spend 6 months in the electric chair! Just kidding, He is one of my greatest friends and former employees. I think he is still with Hank Jr.
I don't think you can find a nicer more honest , easy to get along with guy anywhere.

Bobbe, I wondered the same, I think Cindy is from the Woodstock, NY area, but it is a starnge coincidence that there are two steel playing women that are both blondes.
