Happy birthday, Ray! May you have many more. And also a birthday greeting from my Dad, who is now 81. He's the one who introduced me to the best! |

the last time i saw ray was at the sun dome
theater in sun city AZ. about 14yrs ago.
he would walk out to the edge of the stage
and sing into the crowd not even using a
mic. i was so impressed, not to mention steve P. on steel. happy b-day ray now call
emmons and put it back together. I hate to
hear people talk about what they should of done back when. When is now. |

I saw Ray in Reno about 6 years ago, Dave Musgrave was playing steel then. I met Dave the next year in Branson. What a nice person. Ray is my all time favorite country singer.

Happy Birtjhday Ray !! Truly A Legend In Your Own Time !!
I met Dave Musgrave in Alaska shortly after the big earthquake. Not that he had anything to do with that but he shook me with his playing a Fender 1000 like Curly Chalker. That was right after Curly was on the Merle Travis album and all of us were trying to capture that sound. Dave done it good !!
Regards, Paul |
