Now we are gearing up for the April 6th 7th and 8th 2001 Steel Guitar Hall of Fame Show in Grand Rapids MI
We have a new location: MIDWAY HOTEL=BEST WESTERN 4101 28TH Street Grand Rapids, MI 49508
The room rate there for our show is $69.00 a night.
This hotel is really nice, great swimming pool and lots of things to entertain you around the pool (Many Games)
The dining room is super, and the prices are
very reasonable. Leonard and I toured the place and we believe you will be very happy there.
For reservations call; (616) 942-2550 and mention the show for special rates.
fax; (616) 942-2446
or email: midwaygr@iserve.net
This hotel is easy access from all major highways and there are a million things to do in Grand Rapids and around 28th Street itself.
Of course, I'm getting this info to you early and we will keep you updated as things progress.
We've blocked 50 rooms and more are available if needed.
Any questions please Email me and I'll fill you in. See you in St Louis real soon. Evelyn

Hello Al,
We are depending on you and all our friends to be there and support this show. Leonard and I can pull a site and a date together, then it's up to everyone to be there, supportive of the show and make some money for the hotel so they will WANT us back again. Most of all we need money for the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in St Louis.
Hope to see you in April in Grand Rapids. Evelyn

Great News, count me in. This is one of the most enjoyable shows around folks, so plan to attend. Evelyn and LT do it all up right. Their Michigan HOF program and selection was so good. Don't miss this event.

Hello Al,
It is still in the works but no firm date. Waiting to hear from the producer. hopefully, it will be soon.
Also, another one (Christmas Album) is in the works out of Gene Breeden's Studio in Nashville. Might be nice to have two coming out together. Never happened to me that way before. Reminds me of a good ole Willie song-"Not Supposed to Be That Way". Remember that one? I think John Hughie played on that session. See there, any time you talk about steel guitar you have to talk about John. LOL See you in St. Louis.

Bill: It's okay. It helps to make sure you got your message read, and at the same time, it bumps the post up another notch.

Good job, Bill. Smile
