Pickin' Party VII Sunday July 30th at The Dowood Inn Branson, Mo. The great Herby Wallace along with a host of super pickers such as Bobby Hempker of the "Coal Miners" band in years past, now with Roy Clark---Dean Holman who is a bright young player working the Down Home Country show in Branson now and has toured with Ricky Skaggs and Tanya Tucker --very fast and clean !!--Don Curtis of Scotty's Music St. Louis, Mo. will be on hand and he will give you a "differant approach" to playing and will entertain you big time !! Mr Dave Musgrave, president of the Ass'n will also perform. Of coarse many remember him from days of working with Sho-Bud doing seminars, etc and from touring with Ray Price. A nice guy to visit with as well !!
Kevin Clemons who many of you have heard me brag on before . He hails from The Corn State as I do but the similarity ceases right there ! Man talk about speed on wheels !!!! wait til you hear him !!! Formerly of the Shoji Tabuchi show and a wonderful entertainer. Miss seeing Big "E" ? well try the next best thing, come see Kevin. Roger Blevins of The Baldknobbers Show and voted Branson's Top Steel Player last year will perform as will club sec and Mel Tillis Steel man Terry Bethel (Also of Bethel guitar fame) There is much more to mention but will only say the back up band will include our own N.W. Ar. "sweetheart" Miss Jeneé Keener on fiddle,Mr Milt Quackenbush lead man and Chuck Landry drums from the Tillis Show along with J.J. Jones of The Moe Bandy Show and Dino Strunk, lead man deluxe and others !!
all crammed into one afternoon of super entertainment !!! Twelve bucks buys it all too !!! there's more much more !!! but we'll post it as time draws closer .
