Bumping this oldie but goodie for a question.......

In bar 4, how do you play the C pedal AND the A and B at the same time? Two foot it? Did Mooney have a different change to make that easier?

Thanks! I love this stuff!

Yeah, it's a two-footer, Jim - it can be done. I'm not sure about Moon's set-up but I know Brett Robinson has a 4th string full tone raise way over by the volume pedal on his D-10.

BTW, I've been in a real Mooney mood, and I just dug up your two part "You Asked Me To" tabs. Some great stuff in there.........much appreciated!

Thanks, Jim. BTW, it's hard to see on- line but the Dobro parts are in red.

Wow Frank, I have to envy your ear. I did the best I could learning that intro some years ago. I played that part starting with the 4th bar by doing a simple 5-4-1 roll. I never caught that Ralph used the 3rd pedal that way, but it’s a fantastic sound, and just a brilliant use of notes! Thanks for the lesson!

Here's another "2-foot" E9 lick from Paul Franklin, I think: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopi ... ight=verge
