Saddle ouchless finger and thumb picks - my experience
I would have posted to the original post but it was closed for some reason and I could not comment there.
My 2 cents.
Bought set.
The finger picks fit good and comfortable. I do have to get used to the tip, which is a different shape than my regular fingerpicks.
Verdict: I will keep using them because they are comfortable. (well, I might go back occasionally to the old style to make sure its not my imagination)
The thumb pick tend to roll around my finger. I tightened it up but when it eventually slides toward the thinner part of my thumb (you know, toward the fingernail) and then it starts to roll around. I have to "push it in again" to continue using it. I can't tighten it any more otherwise it will not fit around my finger at all.
It is more comfortable because it doesn't squeeze my finger, .... but because it tends to roll around after awhile, I go back and forth between these thumb picks and the conventional type that squeeze your finger and stay put.
Verdict: These picks are different for sure and I need to work with them a bit more to see if its the picks or my technique.

I got mine about 3 months ago. Same story. I'm not using the thumb pick. Can't make it fit comfortably. I much prefer my National thumb pick. But the finger picks are wonderful. They are very comfortable, and fit like a glove. The skin around my fingernails has healed-up. I will never go back to the old style. And they stay put!

Pick movement
A little hair spray helps keep pick in place.
Got that from Bobby Bowman.
