Retuning a steel takes a few minutes.
Re rodding a PSG is a big investment of time and money.
well...moving two lower string rods is pretty simple.

i've had no problems since using skinny george l's cords for everything except the longer cord to my amp.

new strings always sound brighter and bring out the
sound of the wraps more. take advantage of this time
to work on your technique.
the strings should settle in and get a little smoother in a week ...
