On my right hand side, tilted back about 40 degrees and right up against the legs of my pedal steel. I mainly have it there so that the controls are within reach.

A correction -- the bassist from Whitey Morgan saw my post and emailed me. Jimmy Mo is currently playing steel with the band. However, all the pedal steel on their record was done by Fred Newell.

So bOb, could you give me an example other than 440. Where would 438 be? Or 442? I never was good at math.

438:
(438-440)*4 = (-2)*4 = -8 cents

442:
(442-440)*4 = (2)*4 = +8 cents
