look at the spec sheets - its my understanding that the 140 was meant for bass guitar, and does not have the sweet top end that the 130 has

the Jupiter speaker can only handle 50 watts

so if you have been using an amp with nearly twice the power, and loud, you may have damaged the speaker.

For the record, I use the 50W Jupiter in 2 ...
